HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I am writing this on New Years Eve day at 7:20 a.m. — I am at work. It is already New Years Day where you are. Hope you had a nice (and romantic) New Years Eve. Did you remember to gaze in one anothers’ eyes when you did your New Years toast? Well, Bruce’s and my new tradition learned from our friends “Livin’ the Dream” is to do this and we do it EVERY time we toast which is every time we either have wine with dinner (often) or have drinks out at a restaurant somewhere. So, that’s your legacy to us, and we always think of you livin’ the dream when we do this!!! Hope your New Years Eve and Day were/are fabulous. A year ago now we were excitedly planning our Tahiti trip and we’re kind of sad we don’t have that going on this year. Brian joining you in a few days sounds very exciting and then you’ll have and them the parents will be a lot of fun. Like a family reunion on the ship. At least you won’t be alone for a long sail.
Well, happy New Years!!! We may go to our friends, Ryan and Denise, house to a party tonight. It is a party in their yard with all their snow with a huge bon fire to keep warm. It should be fun but Bruce has a nasty cold so being out in 20 degree weather might not be the best idea so we’ll see what develops. Otherwise, tomorrow is the exciting Rose Parade which we love so we’ll be doing that and then the bowl games all day.
